HAPPY CONCEPTUAL EASTER*
The photo in the background is a graffiti a friend of mine did a couple of years ago. It is still present in Berlin, close to the museum Hamburger Bahnhof that hosts some of Beuys´ work. The spray artist started at the entrance gate of the museum holding a bucket and brush in his hand, walked across the street to the bridge, climbed downstairs to where the beam is, wrote his sentence and jumped off into the water.
The happening was a tribute to Beuys.
On a stairway to the further left the artist was able to climb out again.
I love knowing things about a city that are not apparent.

keep in touch...
Your friend was as courageous as Beuys!
Y tu caracol... will also be thrown to the water? :)
Unfortunately I did not see the happening myself, but my friend had it photographed. It was not intended for an audience unless bypassers were watching. It was a concentration on the tribute. I like that :)
Aynaku, I thought you might find this photo interesting! It reminded me of Beuysboys as of the similar word play.
Lu, yes, what happens to the Caracol, good question. I am currently trying to learn the program Flash (animation) and had David (the caracol) crawl over the beam while the silly bubbles fly across the screen. In the end David stops and while all the bubbles explode he just grins his feisty grin and nothing happens to him. It turned out so idiotic I decided to not post it :) But I thought I let you know he survived the trip!
Je,je... would have been funny to see climbing to David over de beam
I'll have to look for this if I go to Berlin. Will the large free-floating fluorescent spots and the smirking snail be there also? I hope so.
Lu, I seriously doubt that, but I keep working on it :)
Scribblesk, this I doubt, too, but actually, you know what, things can be arranged, ha! Let me know in advance when you go, I need a 4 day notice!
