FEET

After years of endless criss-crossing, Hybrid Heidi founded the Church of Back and Forth. Her emblem became a pair of feet.

Update: Just an hour old of a movement,
the first sepulchral prophecy has been made.
All we can say is:
Be aware of bees!

I can see those who primarily zig breaking ties with the zaggites. The resulting schism would exho through the centuries.

I would also commend to you a wonderful song called "Misalliance" by the English comedy duo Fladers and Swan. Long gone alas. Here are the lyrics:

Your little character Heidi is hilarious! Your series of drawings of her and other litttle characters fun and clever. ;)

"If Heidi would have zigged when she should have zagged she might have met herself coming or going." Hihi! I love that sentence, Scarecrow. In a metropolitan area you often find the tracks of urban artists - and if you study your quarter well you can read who left what and when. That´s why I like the forrest at times where you can still pretend you are the first person to ever walk that way.

Oh no, Neil, you mean history repeating? We will probably have to declare you the Nostradamus of our new movement.
I spent a good half an hour listening to the song samples. I love this type of music, it remindes me of the Berlin Cabaret years. The song has great lines, great rhymes, and alas, great love and sad Bindweed Honeysuckle truth. (In this old post - http://loontowntinies.blogspot.com/2005/08/illusionsblase.html - I had already talked about a bee´s destructible contribution to many a fellow´s luck.) The last line bears quoting:
"...that freedom for which we must fight-
To veer to the left or to veer to the right!"
Thank you for pointing me to Flanders & Swann, I enjoyed them!

Muchas gracias, Nonoy, eres la más amable :)

Christine, thank you very much for stopping by!

Thanks Bron, I have been quite notorious with deadlines recently, puh, yes, but I made it :) I always look out for your drawings as well and I usually bookmark your entries before commenting, as they require more attention (which I love!) so that I can enjoy them in a moment of a bit more time.

I like Heidi's approach - refusing to tie herself down to either Zig or Zag, she just started her own religion! Does that make her master of her own universe? I love your cartoons:>>>>>

Carla, a wise woman once said: what you can´t erase in yourself make it as your trademark. I think Heidi is following that advice in her own peculiar way ;)
