One of my favorite rain related books is "FLOOD" by Eric Drooker. He has a wonderful sequence sample on his website that I highly recommend to watch.

An urbane refrain-
Need a bonnet for this sonnet
Love how you mixed a visual (rain design of apostrophes, etc.) with the poem.
Mmmm, that was lovely. I love the rain.
a.
Thanks, Scarecrow!
Andy,
sure, a bonnet would come in handy, but if you are out and it rains the story is that:
no bonnet, no umbrella, no shield for the splat.
I know, Andrea, I was thinking that you already had the perfect post out for that!
brr..., good visual poetry! it's raining and it's pouring, watching it I almost got wet! quite interesting link, as well...(tnx for your comment)
Hi cris! your idea of commas rain is genial and I think it´s of great poetic sensitivity.
The Eric Drooker sequence... is a delight! I love his work
:) abrazo
You are a poet apart from an excellent illustrator. This piece reminds me of Shel Silverstein!
Hi Aynaku, inspired by days of rain... sigh...
Lu, isn´t that Drooker wonderful? The book captures downtown New York on a rainy day so well! xxx (y como estás?)
Mirage, wow, thanks. I wasn´t familiar with Shel Silverstein so I had a good time researching him Online, love him! Makes the compliment even more precious! (Actually I just realised I had known Tori Amos version of the Sarah Silvia Cynthia stout.)
brilliance!
Oh! this is fantastic...I love the way your whole post looks!

What great word art!
I always appreciate the insight of 99 beetles (and raining punctuation.) Nice. Eric Drooker's site is definitely worth a visit, too. Thank you for sharing & for your past comments!
