There is something about floating deep underwater that makes the rest of the world go away...your illo reminds me of this! Very nice!

Wonderful! To enter another world where madness and the hysteria are not conceived, that could be salvation for her...

Good for her! I always feel so sorry for Ophelia, so it's nice to know she's having fun underwater:> I like the plants on the floor of the sea...they sway in the current and go well with her trailing hair. The bubbles are also very pretty.

Yay for her! It looks like she's so calm and relaxed. The colors are nice, and the flowy lines of her hair are great.

love the colors in this one!

I so agree, Txartcgal, I am not a diver, but snorkling under the sea is a very good and relaxing recluse...

Lu, good point, a realm for those who do not fit into society, I hope too it´s her salvation.

Carla, exactly, poor Ophelia needs a place to have some fun!

Dee, I am sensing women´s solidarity here :)

Joy, thanks, I like the colors, too, I feel I could have skipped Ophelia, but then I remembered it´s all about the Loontowners here. Of course someone like Ophelia lives in Loontown. (Or rather has just escaped it.)

Thanks, Aynaku, I bet you have seen a lot other ones yourself...

Buep, thanks, I was hoping one can feel the silence.

Thank you Tammy!

Marjorie, it´s certainly different from the other Loontown entries. Infact it originated in another context, the sea-scape is a stitching i made for a t-shirt and due to lack of time i used it here as well... a hug back!

i have always stared and stared at the paintings of Ophelia and i love her hair floating on the surface and the idea of floating down the stream! But this Opelia is more of a take charge kinda gal! I love it!!!

CRISTOSOVA hat gesagt…

Andrea, you are right, women like her need different worlds to thrive in :)

Flossy, that makes me really somehow speechless! Good that you didn´t tell me, I would lose all my cool countenance!

Interesting, Val, to think of Ophelia as a "take charge kinda gal", of course I like to see it that way!
