With lots of cream and cake:
If only he wasn´t such a plague.

Love the strawberry birds. Your humor is wonderful and dry. I love the stories your simple words and detailed drawings tell. It reminds me of a story my grandpa used to tell me about a different breed of birds called the shitzies. They would swell up to an extremely abnormal size for a bird then "sh*t" and then shrink back down to a normal bird size. This story was created to explain the dog poop we saw on the sidewalk during our walks.
Funny cake illustration, as usual! Thanks for your comments about Mrs. Trowbridge's journal. I do plan on bringing her back as soon and as often as possible.

I'm with you. "cake" put me out this week. When they had the numbering system I used to get 200 hits from IF..not its like 10.
Any way, bitch and moan. I should stop. I love your illo for cake. Your rhyme was delightful. I wish my big to do list was to pet the cat and eat cake.

I liked the numbers! They helped me keep track of visiting people. Now I just get all mixed up...I feel lucky when I find a familiar blog. Anyway..I found you again (whew!) and had a good laugh over your funny cartoon and silly rhyme. I think we need some more thought provoking topics...something that gives more room for creative interpretation. Although...your interpretations are always creative, no matter how banal the topic.
I can give that compliment fully back to you, Carla. But I noticed that I don´t feel challenged anymore, maybe I need a word for once I have to look up in the dictionary, something that I have to own first before making an attempt to scribble it.

I love your drawings. They are very addictive. It's 630am and I'm just surfing along here and I thought I'd look at one or two and move on. Only I'm moving on to looking at another and another and now on to the archives.
